True Divided-Light Windows

These windows deserve their own category. They’re beautiful, full of character, and we all love the way they scatter natural light throughout a home. They work hard — and they require more care to clean properly.

True divided-light windows have many individual panes and details, which means significantly more surface area, precision work, and time. Even the screens alone are double the size of standard window screens. - Hence the name.

Because of the added complexity and care required, true divided-light windows are priced at $24 per window, including interior, exterior, and screen cleaning.

How we count windows

Our line in the sand is with sliding doors. Anything the same size or bigger than a sliding door is when we count each pane as one window, vs standard / smaller configurations we count two panes as "one window". To summarize: a french door is one window or any other picture window of equal or greater size is also one window. ie the windows above each pane = one window

How we count large windows

The above photo has 3 windows. One standard window has one or two panes. A casement window that cranks open, a picture window or a regular; two piece window all = 1 window.

Service Details and Expectations

We specialize in cleaning what you look through — the glass itself. Our service focuses on interior glass, exterior glass, and screens, using professional tools and techniques designed specifically for delicate window surfaces.

In the window cleaning industry, there are two primary service types:

Regular Cleaning and Post-Construction Cleaning.

Regular Cleaning covers organic buildup such as dust, fingerprints, grease, pet marks, bugs, and everyday environmental residue. This is the service most homeowners need and expect — and it’s what keeps your windows clear, bright, and pristine.

Post-Construction Cleaning addresses non-organic materials such as hard water stains, paint, stucco, concrete dust, glue, overspray, and excessive stickers. This type of work requires specialized tools, techniques, and significantly more time. As a result, post-construction cleaning is typically 3–5 times the cost of a regular cleaning.

We always assess this clearly and communicate it upfront, so you know exactly what’s involved before any work begins — no surprises, just exceptional results.

Interior Windows

During interior cleaning, we always wipe up any drips (typically only a few drips onto the tracks), we give those a light wipe up as part of the process. However, detailed track cleaning is not offered as a standalone service.

If your tracks are heavily soiled or have significant buildup, we recommend working with a professional house cleaner. They have the proper brushes, vacuums, and tools to clean tracks thoroughly and efficiently.

Exterior Windows

On the exterior, we use a pure-water (DI) water-fed pole system to safely scrub and clean your windows spot-free. This process naturally rinses the lower window frames as well.

That said, our work remains focused on the glass itself. Exterior surface cleaning — such as siding, stucco, fascia, or trim — is not included in window cleaning.

If your home’s exterior needs deeper cleaning, that falls under house washing, pressure washing, or soft washing, which are separate services requiring different equipment and methods than those used for glass.
